Hydromethods was formed in 2010 by David Poggi, P.E and Kent Brander, P.E., Twin Cities-based engineers with nearly 20 years combined experience specifically in the field of water resources engineering. We are professionally committed to using the best available science and technology to help our clients address their water resources concerns, whether through projects aimed specifically at water resources improvement, or through stormwater planning and implementation measures designed to fulfill regulatory requirements.

There are two main real-world needs that guide the water resources industry: to prevent flooding problems and to ensure that the water in lakes, streams, and groundwater aquifers is clean. We are ethically obligated to ensure that the money our clients spend on a water resources project is indeed used to advance the stated goal, such as flood prevention, regulatory compliance, water quality treatment, etc. As experts who understand the uncertainty, complexity, and limitations inherent to the field of water resources, we will always help our clients to avoid wasting money, and to understand why something is or is not a wise use of time and funds.
